FOR THE SAUCE Serves 4 Per serving 408 kcal 26.8g carbs 4.6g fat 45.4g protein
1 tbsp garlic and ginger paste
4 tbsp dark soy sauce
4 tbsp mirin or rice wine
200 ml beef stock
50 ml oyster sauce
OTHER INGREDIENTS
700 g raw beef strips or steak ( Make sure its fresh if you are planning on freezing )
1 chopped red onion
2 tbsp cornflour
3 chopped bell peppers
400 g tin of borlotti beans, drained
200g straight to wok/pan udon noodles
Add the beef and the onion to the slow cooker. Mix the sauce ingredients together and pour over the beef. Cook on low for 4 hours. About 30 minutes before the end of cooking add the bell peppers, udon noodles and borlotti beans. Mix the cornflour with a little water to make a paste and stir this in too. This will thicken the sauce. Serve with noodles and salad.
